Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is a classic fixed shooter arcade game where players must defend against a variety of insects, including centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas, using their trusty bugblaster. The goal is to survive as long as possible in this thrilling challenge! The bugblaster fires small darts at the segmented centipede, which typically features 10 to 12 body segments, including a head. When a segment is hit, it transforms into a mushroom, but each piece continues its descent towards you independently! Only by destroying the head can you eliminate the centipede entirely. You can control your blaster and aim at the centipede using either the keyboard or mouse.
